The company Credium, a.s. was established already in year 1997, entering Czech market as a leasing company. Nowadays, the company belongs to top car financing companies on the leasing and credit market in the Czech Republic. It provides financial leasing, operational leasing, car loan and instalment sale to business and non-business alike. Next to general retail financing, Credium has also a partnership with different brands FiatCredit, AlfaRomeoCredit, LanciaCredit, Mazda Finance and HyundaiCredit. Credium serves customers in the Czech Republic and since year 2009 also in Slovakia through its daughter company Credium Slovakia, a.s.

Credium profiles as a universal financial institution. The trademark Credium has become a synonym also for consumer financing, notably products credit card, POS loan and on-line loan www.nejlevnejsipujcka.cz.

The company Credium, a.s. is fully owned by the French corporation SOFINCO S.A., with its seat in Paris. SOFINCO S.A. specializes in consumer loans, revolving loans, financial leasing, outsourcing and insurance and has 13 daughter companies.
